Nickel silver

Used in aerospace components! Contains a high amount of Ni and has a silvery-white appearance.

We would like to introduce "Nickel Silver" and "German Silver," which are handled by Ensab Co., Ltd. Nickel silver is a copper alloy that contains 10-30% nickel as its main secondary component. Those with a higher nickel content have a white luster similar to silver and are used as substitutes for silver in coins and other applications. German silver, on the other hand, is a copper alloy with 19-27% nickel and 1-9% zinc as its main secondary components. It has a beautiful silvery-white color, excellent ductility, and relatively high corrosion resistance. While it is commonly used in currency, our company offers special nickel silver and German silver products designed for use in machinery parts and aerospace components, taking advantage of their corrosion resistance. 【Features】 ■ Silvery-white color ■ Corrosion resistance *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Ultimate Invar Alloy "IC-DX"

Zero expansion - does not undergo structural transformation up to -269°C! The Young's modulus is 1.5 times that of commercial products!

"IC-DX" is a low thermal expansion alloy based on Fe-Co-Cr. Since it does not contain Ni, which raises the Ms point, it can achieve both zero thermal expansion and low-temperature structural stability, making it suitable for use in low-temperature environments. This material is being evaluated for use as a pad material for bonding 200mm square fused quartz (aspheric mirrors). Thermal expansion at the operating temperature of 77K (liquid nitrogen) and during alignment adjustments from room temperature to 77K is important. 【Features】 ■ Zero expansion, ultra-low temperature stability, high rigidity, corrosion resistance ■ Coefficient of thermal expansion: 0 ppm/℃ ■ Lower limit temperature for low-temperature use: minus 269℃ ■ Young's modulus: 176 GPa ■ Corrosion resistance equivalent to SUS304 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Technical Introduction] Heat-Resistant Aluminum Alloy for Metal 3D Printers

By using aluminum alloys with added transition metals, it has been confirmed that values show 1.5 to 2.0 times higher than conventional levels!

At JAMPT, we are working on utilizing a new aluminum alloy powder for metal 3D printers in new applications through additive manufacturing, based on a patent implementation agreement. The JIS AC8A alloy is well-known as a heat-resistant aluminum alloy for casting. However, when this alloy is formed using a metal 3D printer, it does not achieve the high-temperature strength that is conventionally known. To improve this, it has been confirmed that using an alloy with added transition metals shows values 1.5 to 2.0 times higher than conventional ones. In the manufacturing process, a laser-based metal 3D printer is used, and there is no need to perform the conventional T6 treatment (510°C solution treatment ⇒ water quenching ⇒ aging). 【Chemical Composition (%)】 ■Si: 10 ■Cu: 1 ■Mg: 1 ■Ni: 1 ■Fe: 2 ■Al: bal. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We accommodate contract melting of small quantities of special alloys!

Do you have any troubles like this? The metal material you have been using has become difficult to obtain because the existing manufacturer has stopped production...

We apply the manufacturing technology of our product COBARION to offer contract melting of special alloys. We provide integrated production from melting to forging and rolling, and we are also capable of small-scale prototype development. Vacuum melting starts from the formulation of raw materials. Leveraging this strength, we can produce "customer-customized alloys" and support various research and development through metal material prototyping. 【Features】 ■ Capable of manufacturing "customer-customized metal materials" through metal melting ■ Skilled in controlling trace element composition ■ Ingots available in minimum weights of 6kg, 15kg, 30kg, 36kg, and 100kg ■ Can also accommodate subsequent plastic processing (homogenization heat treatment, hot forging, rolling, etc.) ■ We accept contract processing for hot forging and hot rolling as well. ■ We focus on short delivery times. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Black Silicon Carbide Briquette

Black Silicon Carbide Briquette/SiC Briquette

Silicon carbide briquettes are produced for using in cupola melted gray and ductile base iron for the purpose of introducing silicon and carbon to the iron. The advantage silicon carbide holds over ferrosilicon products is the addition of a carbon component which may provide carbon units to the iron and/or reduce cupola coke requirements. The reduction in coke may in turn lead to increased melt rate.
